Ep. 102: Jill Atogwe: Marriage & Motherhood
Today’s guest is Jill Atogwe. Jill is wife to retired NFL player, Oshimogho Atogwe. They have two children, Oshilema (4) and Keogena (3). They live in Dallas close to her six siblings and parents, her father being a NFL Hall of Famer, Mike Singletary. Jill is an amazing artist (just watch her draw and paint on Instagram…beautiful!), lifestyle blogger, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She sees the beauty in her day to day and I’m happy for you to listen in on our conversation.
We talk about marriage, why O, (that’s her nickname for her husband Oshimogho), says that she is a reluctant fighter and how communication and prayer are so important in marriage. We also talk about motherhood and specific strategies Jill incorporates in her home as a work from home mom. They are good, y’all. We also chat about her thoughts about an African American actress playing Ariel in the upcoming Disney movie, The Little Mermaid. It is such a great episode. I love how Jill shares her heart all throughout the episode. I love her and you will, too.
