One of the biggest myths you may hear about podcasting is that once you start your podcast, people will be knocking down your door wanting you to promote their product on your show. And if that’s just a myth then how can people make money on podcasts?
Let’s dig into that today!
There are two ways to monetize your podcast…indirect and direct monetization. Indirect monetization is when you promote other people’s content or products. Direct monetization is when you promote your products or services.
Unless you are a macro or mega influencer you will not be able to have a strong Rate of Investment if your income is based solely on affiliate or sponsorship income.
You CAN however make money on your podcast promoting your products or services, which is called direction monetization.

But, the great news is that you can make money with your podcast if you do it strategically with your products and services. And, remember:
