ep 72 - 3 Strategies to Simplify Any Podcast Launch
My son and I are reading a book about Babe Ruth which he’s giving a book report about on Friday. It’s been thought-provoking for both of us to learn how Babe got his name and also the hard, hard childhood environment he grew up in. A quote we ran across was meaningful. He said,
“Don’t let the fear of striking out hold you back.”
But how do you strike out in terms of starting a podcast:
you complicate it
you make it harder than it is
you fear you will make a fool of yourself
you wonder (and worry about) what people think
In order to NOT strike out, you have to do this: YOU HAVE TO KEEP IT SIMPLE.

RESOURCES:
I was listening to a podcast where Pat Flynn interviewed Sophie Walker the podcast host of Australian birth stories. She started podcasting in her car over Skype (who remembers Skype?!) Today she has a studio but is still recording over Zoom even while her company is going BEYOND what she imagined! Sophie reminded us all to keep it basic. Listen to that episode HERE
